Your journey to interior design solutions starts with a free initial consultation service.  Designzone meets with you to listen, understand and discuss your brief for the transforming your space.  Our focus is on your needs so that we create a proposal that delivers the right solution.  By working together, we establish a clear understanding of your goals, and identify any feasibility issues or challenges early on. By asking the right questions and offering the right advice we produce a plans based on more accurate budgets and timelines. Our proposal to you will reflect your current needs and will also ensure your newly designed space is future-proof.

02. Prepare & Manage

• Manage the project, including building consents

We work with our trusted team of contractors to formulate quotations based on your plans.  The Designzone team collate all drawings and specific information required for the building consent process. We lodge the building consent documentation with your local council and, as your agent, we monitor and manage the entire process for you. Our drawings include all existing services in the building, site plans and the proposed interior fit-out.

03. Finalisation & 3D visualisation

• Create furniture concepts and finishes
• Produce 3D visualisation of the space
• Finalise specifications and budgets
• Develop future proofing strategies

Once concept designs are finalised we incorporate any finishing touches and move on to the aesthetic aspects. We specify the most appropriate furniture styles to meet your needs, preferences and budget. Finishes are selected throughout the interior including; colour concepts for flooring, walls, desking and furniture, reception counters, soft seating, graphics, art, plants and finishing touches. We then bring it all to life with 3D imagery from our finalised floor plans, enabling you to share our vision for your newly designed space.

1. FITOUT RESIZED

04. The Fit Out

Once the fit-out commences our focus is on the maximum effort from us, and minimum disruption for you. We understand that you need to maintain a ‘business as usual’ approach so our aim is to make the process as painless as possible for you and your staff.  We work very closely with our team of contractors to ensure that all aspects of your project run smoothly.  As we move towards completion we place furniture and the add the finishing touches to your interior using graphics, art, plants and those important touches that ensure you are completely delighted with your new space.  Then you just sit back and enjoy!

05. Completion

• Conduct quality control checks
• Confirm satisfaction
• Deliver final documentation

At the final stage of your project, we arrange a final quality control walk-through with you.  By double-checking that all elements of your project have been completed to the highest standard we ensure that you are completely satisfied.  After confirming that we have delivered as promised, we go on to complete the sign off by delivering building consent documents, furniture warranties and the code of compliance from council.  You now have a wonderful, highly effective new space ready for you to enjoy!
