COMMERCIAL / HOSPITALITY DESIGN
Unser Haus
Working hand in hand with BSH Group and German Kitchens, Sarah from Designzone project managed the installation of the new Gaggenau, Neff and Bosch showroom project. She was involved from the signing of the lease to the red carpet opening. She produced construction drawings from the German Kitchens design and worked with Cubicon Interiors to bring these designs to life. The rustic 1920’s building on Parnell Rise has exposed concrete floors, beams, walls and ceilings that hold up a long life history in the neighbourhood. Adding luxurious cabinetry from Europe and New Zealand with aged recycled railway sleepers, marble, glazing, graphics and reclaimed oak finishes, the new showroom space transformed into an exquisite experience. GAGGENAU, the predominant feature, with Eggersman joinery from Germany has celebrated 333 years in the making. Old recycled railway sleepers have been used to represent the Black Forrest in Germany along with an old anvil with blacksmith tools to set the scene. Marble and stone benchtops compliment the beautiful appliances. NEFF’s showroom is a European themed space with Vidaspace brick, Hydrocork flooring and stunning joinery. The finishes include concrete, stone, steel and veneers. The BOSCH showroom lends itself to a bright modern style using the bold BOSCH super graphic as a joinery feature, simple white joinery with veneer and stone highlighting the appliances in all their glory. BOSCH commercial and a butlers kitchen all add to the full experience that has morphed into “UnserHaus”, aka “OurHouse”.
